Thank you to all who have contributed to our organization this year– none of this would be possible without your invested time and energy! Together, let’s move forward and continue to create positive change and cultivate active citizenship in our community.
Grand Valley Alternative Breaks is a small part of a much larger Movement started by our parent organization, Break Away, and we are inspired and encouraged by all of the programs, active citizens, and communities that contribute to this bigger picture.
To illustrate the impact made by all alternative break programs, Break Away created an infographic (show above) that depicts the numbers of AB participants, community partners, trips, hours of direct service, and other interesting statistics. Check it out!
At the local level, the 2015-2016 year has been one of growth and learning, and we are grateful to all of the student leaders, alumni, GVSU faculty members, AB programs throughout the country, community partners, and everyone else who has contributed to our program and made this year a success.
